league of conservation voters
The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) is the political voice for the environment in the United States, advocating for sound environmental policies and helping elect pro-environmental candidates who will adopt and implement these policies.
Element worked with LCV to elect Democratic candidates in key 2006 federal races. LCV’s work was critical to the election of John Tester’s victory over incumbent Conrad Burns in Montana and Jim Webb in Virginia; both of these Senate candidates won by less than one percent.
Element’s work also included radio, TV and direct mail for races in Michigan, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington State.
Element developed an environmental message centered around renewable energy, linking the issue to new jobs, homeland security and American innovation.
